Level 2 SharePoint administrative

Profile of the position:

He/ She has solid know-how of this underlying technologies.  He/ She has experience in providing customer support over the phone and vie e-mail. This position has no direct reports

and usually works very independently on the cases assigned to him/her.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide 24/7 on-call support for the e-mail environment.
  • Manage SharePoint Permissions
  • Analyze SharePoint Usage and Activity
  • Move / Copy Sites
  • Clean Up, Manage and Configure SharePoint accounts and sites
  • Analyze SharePoint content and storage
  • Monitor SharePoint trends
  • Set up alerts and Enforce policies
  • Audit your SharePoint environment
  • Identify governance violations
  • Powerful and comprehensive management of additional SharePoint components, including Alerts, Content Types and Lists;
  • More enterprise-wide usage reporting from the Web Application, down to the item level;
  • Support for bulk operations with PowerShell Cmdlets, web services controls and the ability to easily copy to multiple destinations;
  • More robust management of the SharePoint audit data; and,
  • New features to provide site administrators with even more capabilities, including additional support for more detailed reporting and analysis at the site level to all sub-sites below and the ability to select any set of folders and/or items, making granular choices easier to specify when needed.

Desired Qualification
  • Must be a MCSA and have Average Server knowledge along with Standard Applications.
  • Basic Education must have a Bachelor’s degree or Under Graduate in any stream
  • Good Communication Skills (Written & Verbal)
  • Knowledge on Server Monitoring & Management is preferred.
  • Understanding of ticketing system is also preferred.
  • Must be Willing to work in shifts
  • Previous NOC/GSD/RDMS/SOC experience will be a value add.
Desired Experience

Should have 2+ yrs of experience in providing Level Support to all departments Schedule time estimates for projects / task deliverables, adhere to SLA.
